The Swing Club — Batting Clinic

Thursdays 8–10pm · Scarborough · $280

The Offseason GrindStarts Now.

Welcome to the Swing Club. We’re strong believers that if you want to have a good season, you need to have a good off-season.

Whatever your level, this is your chance to keep swinging all winter, pick the brains of some of the best hitters in the community, and show up to Game 1 in midseason form.

More than anything, it’s a group. 24 players who’d rather spend the winter getting better than waiting around for May — same faces, same cages, every Thursday for 15 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this for?

Anyone who plays slo-pitch and wants more swings. Rookie to Elite — every level gets its own baseline and its own PRs.

Is this a traditional batting clinic?

Not really. There's structure, but you're not being run through the same drills every week. Most of the night is you getting swings and working on your game, with a lot of experienced players around to get tips from.

Why only 24 players?

So everyone actually gets to hit. Two cages, 12 a side, keeps things moving and means way more reps for everyone.

How much hitting do I actually get?

A lot. You'll get three 12-pitch turns during Open BP, 10 swings in the velo test, plus however many turns you get through the 20-minute Pressure Round. You're looking at 50+ swings most nights.

Do I need to know my exit velo?

We don't expect you to know your exit velo beforehand. We set your baseline in Week 1. The Velo Board is about how much you improve from there.

When, where, how much?

Thursdays 8–10pm at ZakSports in Scarborough, October through January. $280 for the 15 weeks.
